AI companion computer for FPV

Onboard vision for your flight controller.

SmartPilot Lite is a 48 × 48 mm AI vision computer built on the STM32N6 neural MCU. It drops onto a standard 30.5 mm stack, sits in your video path and talks to your FC over MAVLink.

Why SmartPilot Lite

A vision computer that fits the stack you already fly.

Neural processing on board

Built around the STM32N657 with its integrated NPU, so vision models run on the aircraft — no separate companion computer, no cloud.

Works with your flight controller

Attitude and altitude come straight from your FC over MAVLink. Your FC keeps flying the aircraft; SmartPilot Lite adds the eyes.

Analog in, analog out

Takes your analog FPV camera, draws its own OSD and passes composite video on to the FC and VTX — no change to your goggles.

Digital-ready over Ethernet

Pair a MIPI CSI-2 camera with an IP radio: SmartPilot Lite streams video with the OSD burned in, while your FC telemetry link stays as it is.

Stack-native size

48 × 48 mm with a 30.5 mm hole pattern. It stacks like an FC or ESC — no custom brackets or pods.

Straight off the pack

Powers directly from 4S to 8S LiPo (12–33.6 V) with an ideal-diode input stage for reverse-polarity protection.

Where it sits

Two video paths. One board.

SmartPilot Lite sits between your camera and your transmitter, so every frame passes through the NPU before it reaches your goggles.

Analog

CVBS · own OSD
  1. Camera
  2. SP Lite
  3. FC (+ OSD)
  4. Analog VTX

Keeps your existing analog gear. SmartPilot Lite overlays its own OSD, and your FC adds its usual one on top.

Digital (IP)

Ethernet · OSD burned in
  1. Camera
  2. SP Lite
  3. IP radio

Streams to SIYI-class IP radios over Ethernet. Your FC-to-radio telemetry link is unchanged.

Closed digital systems (DJI, Walksnail, HDZero) use their own cameras and aren't supported in the video path.

On the roadmap

Gyro-stabilized video, no gimbal.

The next revision adds a board-level IMU for electronic image stabilization on bare CSI-2 cameras.
